Before the NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation were established, our founding members were already fighting for disability rights.

Working within Queensland’s Office of the Public Guardian, we directly advocated for those living with disabilities to have more choice, more choice, more freedom and more control over their environmental needs.

From our position on the frontlines, we saw first-hand how challenging it can be to ensure a House is safe, accessible and well equipped with supports that enable those living with disabilities to create a lifestyle of their choosing. We’ve also seen the transformative power these things have in creating a home and improving quality of life. So as you begin your home search, we don’t want to just be your advocate; we want to be your partner.
